Building this lab has been a labor of love now spanning over a decade.

To summarize, the top two PCs handle the bulk of the application workload with the lower PC being a dedicated NAS, providing storage to the other two. In addition, a single Raspberry Pi is used as a power controller for automating power cycles for all the compute devices pictured below. The networking is also arranged into a tier 2 architecture with UPS battery ports powering it all.
